Media Trainer Linda RoseLinda Rose

Linda has been involved in the media, including both journalism and public relations, for more than 30 years. Her roles have included news journalist, current affairs programme producer and presenter, culminating in two years co-anchoring Radio New Zealand’s national breakfast current affairs programme.

In 1996 she joined the London bureau of an American broadcast PR company where she worked as a broadcast consultant establishing its healthcare arm. Linda joined healthcare communications consultancy, the Shire Health Group (now part of Ogilvy Healthworld) in 1998 where she became Director of Media Services working on media strategy for a range of pharmaceutical brands both in the UK and globally.

Since 2005 she has been an independent consultant and media trainer, working with a range of businesses including GlaxoSmithKline, Philips, Roche, Novartis, Eisai, Merck and Pfizer.  Linda has also carried out media relations and media training for a number of not-for-profit organisations such as the Gates Foundation, MIND, Alzheimer’s Research UK and Target Ovarian Cancer.
